These classes aim to:
- provide time for you to enjoy your pregnancy
- exercise gently and safely during pregnancy
- meet other mums-to-be
- prepare for birthing your baby
The classes emphasise an active birth, including breathing and positions for labour. Different themes are covered each week, including Optimal Foetal Positioning, avoiding perineal damage, & life with a new baby. Occaisonally I incorporate Dancing for Birth moves into the class (no dancing ability needed). We love to see the babies when they arrive!
You can drop-in (£11 per class) or pay for a block of 5 (£45 - can be taken over 7 week period if you can't make them all). Concessions available. Please phone or email with any questions or just to let me know you're coming!
Mats are provided, but please bring your own if you prefer. Bring a light blanket for the relaxation.
*Therapists and other people offering baby-related services (e.g. hypnobirthing, sling expert) sometimes visit the Saturday class from 11.15am and give a 5 minute talk about how they might help you.
